Sophistication, Historic Elegance Special Gala Venues

The high point of most Incentive programs is the unforgettable gala events. We have a fine selection of venues of different sizes. All of the listed venues are outstanding pieces of architectural design and reflect Hungary’s rich cultural heritage. They are all perfect and suitable party locations. Our special relationship with the management of these venues enables us to serve our clients’ most unusual requests as well. The capacities indicate banquet style at each venue.


Museum of Applied Arts


The beautifully ornamented Art Nouveau building from 1896, with colorful Zsolnay ceramic walls outside the main entrance and its unique ceramic roof tiles, is one of the most attractive sights in the capital and also a perfect gala venue. The spacious white Victorian interior with a glass dome overhead is a complete contrast with the multicolored Oriental exterior.

Museum of Ethnography


The neo-Renaissance palace was erected to house the Supreme Court in 1896. Entering the huge and richly decorated main hall makes an impression on anyone. A grand fresco on the ceiling, large painted windows and the splendor of the staircase are all to be admired in this festive location.

Museum of Fine Arts


Behind the attractive neo-classical facade on Heroes’ Square, monumental staircases and spaces were laid out in 1906 housing Hungary’s rich fine art collection.The large exhibition halls remind us that the building was also intended as a showpiece of different architectural styles.

National Gallery


The largest and most prestigious collection of Hungarian fine art is housed here within the walls of the Buda Royal Palace covering the period from the foundation of the nation to present day.

Wenckheim Palace

This richly decorated neo-Baroque palace was built in 1889 by the baronial Wenckheim family in the centre of Pest. It has several beautiful rooms, suitable for gala events in the renovated building of the Municipal Library.

Festetics Palace


The historic halls of the renovated Festetics Palais display the dimensions and chromatic harmony of her Romantic architecture in the appropriate atmosphere. Through the arrangement and the refined sophistication of the halls’ design features and characteristics, the Palais is especially well tailored for elegant events, presenting her guests a unique experience. For Your occasions, the historical halls are available individually or as a unit (due to the Palais’ outlay, the Mirror Hall is available only in combination with the Marble Hall). After undergoing thorough renovations two years ago, modern lecture halls and meeting rooms of the highest quality construction and outfitted with first-rate technical equipment were built into the attic of the Palais, where the meeting of existing building material with modern architecture creates a distinctive atmosphere. The halls are outfitted with air conditioning.

Vajdahunyad Castle

Originally built for the Millenary Exhibition (1896) to represent the various styles in Hungarian architecture, Vajdahunyad castle has four main parts: Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance. The fairy-tale like castle is surrounded by a lake in the picturesque surroundings of the City Park. Gala dinners are arranged in the magnificent foyer, after a pleasant cocktail-reception in the Castle Garden. The Medieval Courtyard in the Romanesque area is also suitable for elegant seated gala dinners.

Kiscelli Museum


The museum building was originally erected by the Trinitarian Order in the 18th century. It was later transformed into a Baroque mansion and even served as a hospital. Today it is one of the most splendid museums of Budapest in perhaps the most picturesque of locations, surrounded by pristine forests at the foot of the Buda Hills.

Budapest History Museum


With an intimate exhibition, illustrating the 2000-year history of Budapest within the Buda Royal Palace, there is an impressive Gothic Hall with Gothic statues. A recently renovated Baroque courtyard, covered by a glass roof, with its yellow walls and warm atmosphere is another perfect gala location.

Gundel Restaurant


The flagship of all Hungarian restaurants was originally opened in 1894 and began to enjoy international fame under the management of Károly Gundel, starting from 1910. Paintings from some of Hungary’s most renowned artists adorn the walls of the opulent main dining room. Upstairs, private banquets and elegant balls are held in the white-and-gold rococo Queen Elizabeth Ballroom and Andrássy rooms, while smaller receptions and private dinners take place in the Library or other intimate rooms.

Grassalkovich Palace – Gödöllô


The Gödöllô Palace is the largest Baroque palace in Hungary and, after Versailles, the second largest in the world. It is famous for its unique history and architecture. From 1867 to 1916 the Grassalkovich estate was a favoured resort for Emperor Francis Joseph I and Queen Elisabeth. In 1996, after half a century of misuse, the Palace underwent complete renovation and is now reinstated to its original glory. The splendor of the Ball room provides an excellent opportunity for arranging festive events and gala dinners.

Europa Boat

Surround your gala event with one of the most beautiful views in the world on board! The Europa boat is a large conference and gala venue site and at the same time a Danube cruise ship. The boat has been newly refurbished using the latest trends and technology. The open panorama deck is the perfect place for cocktail receptions. An exclusive and spacious venue site is in the main deck. In addition the boat also has some function rooms in the upper floor. A romantic gala event can be organized on Europa Boat whether on the riverbank or cruising the Danube.

Nostalgia Train – Candle-light dinner

A romantic journey back in time with delicious food and musical delights. The luxurious carriages of the Candle-lit Express comprise a saloon car, a bar, and a dining car offering three hours of gastronomic delight to those who wish to take part in this special journey and want to evoke the ambience of the past.  The three-course candle-lit dinner is served in the dining car along with fine Hungarian wines offered by a sommelier. You can choose a regular menu or a vegetarian one. Music featuring popular international and Hungarian pieces is played in the bar of the nostalgia train throughout the journey.
